Your partner in British Dutch Business

Moving to the Netherlands is very exciting, but how do you proceed?

Luckily, there are a lot of organizations who can help you to find a house. But even once you’ve moved into your new place, you’re still not there. Now you have to make this house into a home. But the Netherlands differs from other countries, and there are a lot of choices that need to be made. There is furniture, flooring, curtains and lighting to be found at every single price level.

But where do you begin? My name is Nathalie Tusveld, and I have a company called Woonnt Interieur Advies. I have been advising, furnishing and styling homes for years. From big houses to tiny apartments, with big and small budgets and partial or complete advice. It all depends on your wants and needs.

Besides working as a stylist, I also work at the furniture store Wulf Wonen in Amsterdam. Because of this, I am always in touch with what is being offered and the newest trends. Sometimes there are struggles with delivery time, but I can always find the right furniture and accessories that are in stock.

I find it to be of great importance to get to know the client. What is the family situation? What are your needs? And very importantly: what is your taste? Because, in the end, it needs to be your home. I will take care of everything and have surrounded myself with the right people to offer the right services. Reliable carpenters, painters, plumbers, and upholsterers. Once it is clear to me what your tastes and needs are, I will make a mood board. Then I will be able to find everything we need to style your home.

We can go in many different directions. I can take away all your concerns to make sure your house is furnished in its entirety. The beds will be made, the walls will be painted, the curtains will be hung up and the art will be on the walls. But we can also do this together, once you’ve arrived so you’ll be able to visit the stores I’ve previously been to, so you can test the couches or see the furniture in real life. But one thing will be for sure: in the end, the result will be beautiful, and you will make a home in this new country.
