In preparation for COP26 last November, the British Embassy hosted a dinner to discuss how government and business can best work together to deliver a Net Zero world. Following thoughtful presentations and an inspiring discussion, we agreed to meet again to consider the conclusions of COP26.

Prior to COP26 the NBCC presented their hopes and objectives for the Summit to the Dutch and British governments. They also agreed to reconvene with a number of their members post COP26 to see the outcomes of the summit in practice.

We have therefore agreed that the most powerful next step would be to bring both groups together to jointly reflect on the outcomes and agree how we can best support business in Delivering Net-Zero.

During the course of the dinner we will hear from both Chris Barton and Jaime de Bourbon de Parme, the Dutch Climate Envoy. Each will outline their respective conclusions of COP26, ahead of what promises to be a thought-provoking round table discussion.
