MARKETING EXECUTIVE

AMSTERDAM - THE NETHERLANDS

Northern Ireland Trade Consultants (NITC) B.V., are currently seeking to strengthen their team with the addition of a Marketing Executive for their Amsterdam office.

NITC provides Trade and Marketing Consultancy Services to increase direct trade links between Northern Ireland companies and industry in Western Europe. Working with both the public and private sector NITC has hosted over 400 Northern Ireland companies. A full NITC profile is given on www.nitc.nl.

THE FUNCTION:

Working with the Director and Senior Consultant in carrying out business to business research on behalf of a wide range of clients. Researching markets, providing information, arranging market visits, developing trade links and actively assisting clients to successfully enter these markets.
Working on a project-by-project basis, the position offers the variety of working with NITC clients in a wide variety of sectors.

• Market research - identifying potential business partners and export opportunities for
  Northern Ireland companies
• Business Development – developing sales lead and opportunities for NITC’s clients
• Delegation Preparation – organising Export Delegations from Northern Ireland to Europe

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will most likely have 2 years experience in an international business-to-business role. Language skills in Dutch / German and / or French shall be a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate should be conversant with the business and industrial characteristics of Western European markets (especially the Netherlands and Belgium).

In addition, the successful candidate shall have the following qualities:

• Outstanding communication skills

• Strong sales and advocacy technique

• Ability to respond positively to new challenges with a pro-active attitude

• Self-motivated and target orientated

• Possess Excellent written reporting skills

• Computing skills including Microsoft Office, database management and the Internet
