Established in 1891, the Netherlands British Chamber of Commerce Ltd. (NBCC), with offices in London and Amsterdam, is the foremost private sector organisation on two-way trade and investment between The Netherlands and the UK.
In response to its 250 members' and other businesses needs, it adds value by providing consultancy services and opening doors to business contacts, opportunities and professional advisors.
The NBCC’s activities include the following:
- advisory services to Dutch and British businesses
- trade and investment promotional activities such as business introductions, trade missions, seminars and networking events
- providing information and publishing directories and guides on all aspects of doing business between The Netherlands and the United Kingdom
- networking activities for its members
Because of the departure of one of our staff members we are currently looking for a
for our Amsterdam office.
- Carrying out services for clients of the NBCC, including market research and business itinerary preparation
- Assisting in organising events and trade missions
- Maintaining the NBCC membership admin
- Dealing with (trade) enquiries from The Netherlands and the United Kingdom
- Day-to-day office work
The suitable candidate will:
- have sound commercial skills
- be fluent in English and Dutch
- have an education of HEAO/Business Administration or similar level
- have an understanding of the Dutch and British business culture
- be able to work independently in a small team
- know how to work with computers and all common MS-office applications
